我队去年爆破材料较少,电雷管只有一号瞬发管,火雷管虽不少,但缺导火线而不能利用,加上坑道掘进日益加深(一般达800米左右),通风困难,因而爆破工作时间长、效率低,不能保证安全,同时爆破材料浪费很大。由于领导重视,发动大家大闹技术革新,经过几个月的试验和现场应用,证明了利用石墨粉代替桥线将火雷管改装为延期段发电雷管是解决我队生产的一种有效方法。
