Patric Wright is Australia’s most famous modernist writer, Nobel Prize winner in 1973. As a gay writer, White could not fully demonstrate his own gender identity and value under the prevailing social and cultural constraints of the time. Therefore, his performance on homosexuality was rather obscure. His works were often concealed and distorted in some way. , Indirect means of deformation of the theme of sexual performance. Through detailed analysis of White’s works, we can find out the problems such as the mobility of sexual identity, the predominance of male identity in social interaction and the influence of unbalanced parents’ power on children’s psychological development. White, on the other hand, explores the theme of sexuality and conducts an in-depth analysis and demonstration of all aspects of human nature in its unique way.
