占地面积1.2万平方米(建筑面积8.4万平方米)的上海图书馆新馆大楼,已在淮海中路近高安路口拔地而起。这座上海“八五”重点工程共分4个建筑区域,将于1996年内向社会各界开放。 承担上图新馆工程施工任务的是曾在上海人民广场地下车库、地下商业城、上海博物馆新馆等市重大工程中立下战功的市建四公司第六项目经营管理部的建设者们。
The new building of the Shanghai Library, which covers an area of 12,000 square meters (building area of 84,000 square meters), has risen in the middle of Huaihai Zhong Road near Gao’an Road. This key project of the “Eighth Five-Year Plan” in Shanghai is divided into four construction areas and will be open to all sectors of society in 1996. It is the constructors of the No. 6 Project Management and Construction Department of the No. 4 City Construction Company who have taken part in the major projects of the Shanghai People’s Square Underground Garage, Underground Commercial City, and New Museum of Shanghai Museum.
