柳湜是同志被林彪、“四人帮”残酷迫害,含冤逝世,整整十一年了。记得一九六八年四月二十一日清晨,我正被残酷斗争所折磨,卧病在床,听到家里人诉说柳湜同志惨死的情景,我感到无比悲恸,此后,好些日子,心情总也平静不下来。柳湜同志出身于贫民家庭,一九二八年大革命失败后,在革命最艰苦年代里参加了中国共产党。他一生出生入死,忠心耿耿,为党作了大量的工作,也经受了无数次严峻的政治考验。其中最突出的有两次:
