Primary and secondary school students learn calligraphy, not only help to improve the students’ aesthetic ability, but also have far-reaching significance for the inheritance and dissemination of traditional Chinese calligraphy culture. However, with the popularization of computers and the era of “paperless”, the ability of writing Chinese characters for primary and middle school students has been weakened. To this end, in August 2011, the Ministry of Education issued the Opinions on Calligraphy Education in Primary and Secondary Schools, urging calligraphic education in primary and secondary schools in the country. Specifically, it requires arranging a class hour per week in Chinese courses of grades 3 to 6 Calligraphy class. We can see that the Ministry of Education attaches great importance to the calligraphy class. However, how to really let calligraphy into the classroom, is a question worth pondering. Now I want to talk about my thinking and understanding from three aspects.
