早在70年代末,美国已运用先进的电子技术制作出《星球大战》等科幻影片,把先进的电子技术与人类幻想完美地结合起来,因而轰动全球。电脑特技在电影中更是杰作比比皆是。如《星球大战》、《龙卷风》、《真实的谎言》、《泰坦尼克号》等都可堪称利用电脑特技创造特殊画面之最。在我国,电脑特技和电脑动画等特殊画面已运用于电影、电视剧,特别是知识类影视作品,如《宇宙与人》影片
