交道口南大街是北京内城风貌保护最完好的区域之一,街两侧保护院落、名人故居、文物保护单位比比皆是。在它西侧的南锣鼓巷更是以丰厚的胡同底蕴成为了北京市的文化地标之一。随着改革开放和新时代北京的发展,在这两条街的周围如雨后春笋一般出现了以老北京文化为背景的餐厅、住宿、购物、娱乐等旅游设施,吸引着来自五湖四海的游客。但如果说那些旅游设施中历史最早、北京文化最悠久的,还要算是连通那两条街的板厂胡同中的侣松园宾馆。这座宾馆就沉浸在这老北京文化的海洋之中,长在老北京的记忆里。
Traffic crossing South Street is one of the most well-protected areas in the inner city of Beijing. Both sides of the street protect the courtyards, the former residence of celebrities and the units for cultural relics protection are everywhere. Nan Luo Gu Xiang in the west of it is one of the cultural landmarks of Beijing with rich hutong heritage. With the reform and opening up and the development of Beijing in a new era, the springing up of the two streets has generally emerged with restaurants, accommodation, shopping and entertainment facilities based on the old Beijing culture, attracting tourists from all over the world. However, if those tourist facilities have the earliest history and the oldest culture in Beijing, they should be regarded as the Lusongyuan Hotel in the alley of the two factories that link the two streets. The hotel is immersed in the sea of old Beijing culture, growing in memory of old Beijing.
