西安地区历年来出土了一批北朝晚期(指东西魏)佛造像,其艺术风格有本朝特征,现介绍如下:一、西魏大统三年释迦弥勒四面砂石造像碑;高90厘米,宽48厘米,厚20厘米。竖长方体,四面雕刻,正面分为三段,第一段尖顶三连弧形龛,两侧雕菩提树,内有一佛二菩萨,脸面与部分身体有残。佛为高肉髻,身着敞领袈裟外衣,内着僧祗支,裙带一条搭右
