据《Communicatiions Internatioinal》1988年5月刊报道:19.2kb/s的Modem系列能在四线D1条件租用线路上提供全双工同步通信,此外,它们还提供Trellis编码,并可自动回降和升高到16.8、14.4、12和9.6kb/s的速率上工作。其中的AJ1911-L2D型Modem具有另外一个特性,即如果租用线路发生故障,它亦能提供无人照管的自动拨号备份,以维持拨号线路上的数据传输。
