菲律宾共和国与我国台湾省隔海相望,从广州乘飞机至马尼拉只要两个小时航程,确为近邻。 菲律宾是一群岛国家,由7107个岛屿组成,其中最大的吕宋岛,面积达10万多平方公里,占全国1/3强,首都马尼拉就在该岛西南的马尼拉湾畔。全国人口4000多万,大多信奉天主教。 这里地处热带,气候高温多雨,没有四季之分,年平均温度为26℃,真可谓终年皆是夏季。
The Republic of Philippines faces Taiwan Province of China across the sea. It takes only two hours to fly from Guangzhou to Manila and is indeed a neighbor. The Philippines is an archipelago of 7107 islands. The largest island of Luzon, with an area of more than 100,000 square kilometers, occupies one-third of the country’s total. The capital, Manila, is just off Manila Bay, south-west of the island. The population of more than 40 million, mostly Catholic. Here is located in the tropics, the climate is hot and rainy, there is no four seasons, the annual average temperature of 26 ℃, really can be described as summer all summer.
