Hong Kong Diamond Hill Cemetery, Liu Boxi took photos of the graves of ancestors and came to worship ancestors with his son who had never been there. However, they found and asked, asked and asked but never found it. He was very disappointed, and finally could only bow with his son before a group of surnamed Liu’s tomb. Liu Bowzhi has never seen the ancestors, but they know that in order to find a dream, they want to live in a different country, go abroad and come to Hong Kong for just a better life. Perhaps such a fluid factor existed already in him, leaving him 40 years ago to leave Hong Kong and look abroad for his photography dream. Forty years later, he returned to Hong Kong to apply for a Hong Kong Identity Card with his 19-year-old son, who was born and raised in the United States. He said that this was the beginning of another dream. For 40 years, he pursued his own dreams and recorded the dreams of others. From the North American Chinese in the 1970s to the rapidly changing China today, the camera shows the living conditions of Chinese in different regions. Now, his 40 years of work will be exhibited at the Guangdong Museum of Art in Guangzhou, presenting the dream of Chinese migration for nearly half a century.
