The National Primary and Secondary School Continuing Education Network (www.teacher.com.cn) was approved by the Ministry of Education. It was opened in December 2002 and Vice Minister Yuan Guiren of the Ministry of Education attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. With the support of the Department of Teacher Education under the Ministry of Education and the unified coordination of the National Network of Teacher Education Networks, the website has done a great deal of work in terms of technology platform construction, curriculum resources construction, training system construction and trainer team building,
