为了传播中医和发展中医药事业,把中医专业英语班学生的英语教学重点转向学生中医汉译英能力的培养势在必行。然而目前中医专业英语教学仍然因循原来的教学模式,必然影响学生翻译能力的培养和提高。就中医院校中医专业英语教学的教学现状和特点,结合我们多年来中医专业英语教学实践,来探讨中医英语教学中培养学生翻译能力的可行性,以及具体的实施策略和方法。
In order to spread traditional Chinese medicine and develop traditional Chinese medicine, it is imperative to shift the focus of English teaching in English classes for students of Chinese medicine to the ability of Chinese students to translate Chinese into Chinese. However, the current TCM English teaching still follows the original teaching model, which will inevitably affect the cultivation and improvement of students’ translation ability. The current situation and characteristics of TCM teaching of Chinese medicine in TCM colleges and universities, combined with our many years of TCM English teaching practice, discusses the feasibility of cultivating students’ translation ability in TCM English teaching, as well as specific implementation strategies and methods.
