Objective: To investigate the reasonable equipping of outpatient physicians queuing theory used in military hospitals. Methods: Field survey and queuing theory models were used to calculate the service intensity of physicians, the average number of waiting patients in the cohort, the average number of patients staying in the system, the average waiting time of patients, the average stay time of patients, the free probability of doctors and the patients’ Must wait for the index of probability and so on. Results: In the morning, dermatology outpatient department of a certain hospital had 21 physicians in the morning and 15 in the afternoon. The service intensity was 0.95-0.96, which was the best. On the day of the survey, 13 doctors were physically employed in the morning and 10 in the afternoon. Intensity> 1. Conclusion: The queuing theory model can be used as a reasonable reference for dermatologists.
