6月16日,在中国水泥协会、国家发改委运行局组织召开的“调研在建水泥项目情况座谈会”上,广州越秀水泥集团的老总凌伟煊说,广州水泥厂环保迁建工程是越秀水泥集团与德国海德堡水泥集团合资的项目,该项目占地约2600亩,总投资18亿元,生产规模居全国前列,其生产线采用国际先进的干法生产技术和环保新技术,粉尘排放将达国际标准。该项目的建成将大大改善广州市的空气质量。这样好的项目从2000年项目审批开始,经过了漫长的历程,通过了项目、资源审批、环境评价,目前土地使用证仍然在待审批中。
