名词作为几大词类之一,无论在英语还是汉语中都拥有极其重要的地位。尽管如此,名词在英汉句子的具体使用中却存在显著差异。英语名词不喜欢在一个或多个句子中重复出现,往往采用一些替换手段进行回避,而汉语名词相较而言却更倾向于重复。本文首先对这一差异现象进行了陈述和原因探析,其次对英语名词的替换手段及汉语名词的重复手段进行了对比说明,最后对英汉名词互译提出了相关建议并对全文做了总结。
Nouns as one of the major categories of Chinese, both in English and Chinese have an extremely important position. Nevertheless, there are significant differences in the use of nouns in English-Chinese sentences. English nouns do not like to repeat in one or more sentences, often using some alternative means to avoid, while Chinese nouns are more inclined to repeat. This article first makes a statement of the difference phenomenon and the reason analysis. Secondly, it compares the means of replacing English nouns with the repetitive means of Chinese nouns. Finally, it puts forward some suggestions on the mutual translation of nouns and nouns and concludes the full text.
