本文在简要地介绍黄河刘家峡水库建库前水沙草的概况,泥沙水草对技术供水系统正常运行影响的实例和防止沙草淤堵试验研究的成果之后,着重介绍了刘家峡水电厂技术供水系统除沙除草所采用的主要设施、坝前取水口设计时考虑的主要因素,水力旋流器和水旋澄清池工作原理及其参数的选定。文章最后介绍了水库蓄水后泥沙水草对电厂的影响和除沙除草设施的运行情况。
