红色资源在价值观教育中具有不可替代的重要作用。红色文化资源蕴含着与社会主义核心价值观相一致的价值理念和价值追求。在社会主义核心价值观教育培育中,区域红色资源具有特殊优势,如大别山红色资源中的大别山精神、服从服务大局等革命优良传统等。利用红色文化资源推进社会主义核心价值观教育培育的方法路径是多种多样的,但最有效的方法路径是“讲好”红色故事。“讲好”红色故事不仅靠讲、靠说,还要通过一定的形式,如编写《红色历史文化通俗读本》、红色讲堂、红色旅游、红色公祭、红色历史文化研究交流等,把包含正能量的红色历史文化信息传达给受众,使之在潜移默化中受到社会主义核心价值理念的熏陶。
