简便计算教学是对小学生进行思维训练,培养学生利用规则实现计算最优化思想的重要途径。学好了简便运算,不仅能提高计算能力、计算速度,而且能使学到的定义、定理、定律、性质等达到融会贯通的境界,有效地提高学生思维的灵活性和创造性。但在实际教学与调研中,笔者发现,大多数教师把简便计算只看成一种特殊的计算技能进行教学,重视对一些特殊形式与特殊数的分析,因而让学生走进了机械地应用“简算”的怪圈。
