The IFLA Management Committee has prepared this draft strategic plan. The draft was presented throughout the planning and the full program is available on the IFLA website at http://www.ifla.org/Ⅲ/officers/index.htm. The following are the strategic directions and strategic actions guiding the work of the IFLA up to 2009. The management committee will hold a final discussion on the draft at a meeting held on August 26 (Saturday). Please submit your comments and suggestions in writing to the IFLA Office (room 317) by Friday, August 25. The complete implementation plan will be discussed at a December meeting of the Governing Council. Strategic Direction
