96 male Wistar rats were selected and divided into three groups: low, medium and high alcohol doses. Alcohol supply accounted for 10%, 20% and 36% of the total calorie intake, and the control group consisted of 3 alcohol groups. group. During the experimental period 120 days, liquid feed was used for feeding. The results showed that alcohol did affect calcium metabolism in rats and was related to alcohol dose. The apparent absorption rate of calcium in the high-alcohol group was 17.85% lower than that in the control group, the calcium content in the bone was reduced by 15.6%, and the serum calcium was also significantly reduced. Medium-dose alcohol also significantly reduced the apparent calcium absorption and bone calcium content in rats. Low-dose alcohol had no significant effect on calcium metabolism in rats.
