《占卜者》作为玛格丽特·劳伦斯独特的女性叙事的代表作品,是加拿大的当代文学史上具有极大影响的一部小说,它以女性成长主题进行写作,受到了众多文学研究者的关注。玛格丽特通过刻画莫拉格这样一个自我意识较为强烈的现代新女性,着重展现了女性在追求梦想的途中所经历的自我的迷失、彷徨以及最终坚韧、自省走向成熟的内容,而从各个层面推动此作品内涵层次提升的则是作品中鲜明的话语特征以及叙事的张力。本文便是从《占卜者》作品的这种话语特征以及叙事张力对此作用进行了具体的探讨,希望能够为更多的人认识此作品提供一个良好的途径。
As the representative work of Margaret Lawrence’s unique female narrative, The Soothsayer is a novel with a great influence on Canadian contemporary literature history. It is written by the theme of female growth and has attracted the attention of many literary researchers . By portraying a modern self-conscious new woman such as Moragh, Margaret emphatically expresses the self-lost, perverted, tenacious and introspective women experienced in the pursuit of their dreams, At the level of promoting the connotation of this work to enhance the level of the work is the distinct characteristics of the discourse and narrative tension. This article is from the “soothsayer” works of this discourse features and narrative tension on the role of a specific discussion, hoping to know more about this work to provide a good way.
