中日两国,一衣带水,两千年前就开始了友好交往。到了唐代,关系尤为密切,日本经常派遣使节和留学生到中国来学习,中国也常有人员去日本传播文化,中日两国人民结下了深厚的友谊。而王维、李白、赵骅等与日本友人晁衡和唱诗歌、感人肺腑的情谊,则更是唐代诗坛的一席佳话。晁衡,原名仲满,又名阿培仲麻侣。开元四年(716),他不满二十岁来中国留学,因天资聪颖,唐玄宗爱重其才而厚遇之,于是改姓名为晁衡。后来在唐朝做官,任
