渡:天子之渡口,谓之天津渡:既是远游的终点,也是出发的起点既是完美的结局,又是充满期待的开始从“八五新潮”到新文人画到实验水墨,天津汇聚了一些在各种类别的水墨语言方式上积极投入建设,并颇具影响的艺术家,这使得天津这座被批评家提及的水墨重镇既有了与其他地域艺术家交流的可能性,也具备了举办此类展示的学术环境。此次展览从格局上分成“水墨新表现、水墨新写实、水墨行而上、水墨新观念”四个部分,分别涵盖了写意、工笔、实验性以及行为、装置、图片等形式,着力于探讨和汇总当代水墨表达的方法与形式上的多种可能性,提供当代水墨表达的新角度、新思路。“渡·当代水墨方式展”是对中国当代水墨语言方式的整体展示。
