一九八二年夏,我去广西桂林、南宁游览,在桂林的一次座谈会上谈到抗日战争时期一九四四年二月至五月为期九十多天的西南戏剧展览会的盛况,我提供了这次大会未发表的宣言事,当时许多同志希望能找到这个宣言草稿的原文。我说曾经从瞿白音同志处看到它,为着上海戏剧学院《话剧史》教学的参考需要,我向白音借来抄录一份,并把要点摘抄在日记本上,可是经过十年动乱,白音的家屡次被抄,我的书架也给那些“造反英雄”抄查,书籍和资料大部散失,宣言抄件不知下落,仅从后来发还的日记本上保留下来宣言的要点,我把它抄给《桂林日报》发表了。去年桂林举行西南剧展四十周年纪念,编辑出
In the summer of 1982, I went to visit Guilin, Guangxi and Nanning.
