Neo-liberalism is the revival of classical liberalism, resulting from the inability of Keynesianism to solve the economic stagnation in western countries that emerged in the 1970s. With the vigorous implementation of both Britain and the United States and the formation of the “Washington consensus,” neoliberalism has evolved into the economic paradigm, political program, and ideology of international monopoly capitalism and has been exaggerated by some as “the cure for economic and social disasters Miraculous medicine ”. However, the international financial crisis triggered by the U.S. subprime mortgage crisis once again proves once again that neoliberalism has unsurmountable contradictions and flaws and is by no means the “panacea” for all countries and regions.
