在第61届戛纳电影节上,土耳其导演努里·比格·锡兰(Nuri Bilge Ceylan)以《三只猴子》夺得最佳导演奖。被称作“过去十年来最有个性的导演之一”的锡兰,以其诗意洋溢的神奇影像令人叹为观止。有人评价他的《远方》将阿巴斯和塔可夫斯基的精萃融入了他对伊斯坦布尔的诗意凝视中。有人说锡兰对外景的处理,深得安哲罗普洛斯的神韵。对于空间的精妙凝练,又有人说锡兰与侯孝贤、杨德昌不遑多让。作品的总体风格,和阿巴斯又是那样相似——质朴平和,重写实,画面明净如镜却极富洞察力。
At the 61st Cannes Film Festival, Turkey's director Nuri Bilge Ceylan won the Best Director's award for “Three Monkeys.” Known as “one of the most personal directors in the last decade,” Ceylon is breathtaking with its poetic magical images. Some commented that his “distance” incorporated the essence of Abbas and Tarkovski into his poetic stare at Istanbul. Some people say that Ceylon's handling of the foreign scene won the charm of An Jiao Luo Puluo. For the exquisiteness of the space, some people say that Ceylon and Hou Hsiao-hsien and Yang De-chang are not giving up. The overall style of the work is similar to that of Abbas - simple and honest, realistic and clear, but the mirror is very insightful.
