A set of “ZT-1 type wine production equipment” with Chinese style passed the provincial technical appraisal in Harbin on November 5th, 1983. The Provincial Science Committee and the Provincial Academy of Science presided over the appraisal. Over 50 experts from 30 units inside and outside the province took part in the appraisal. Liquor is a specialty of Harbin. The Jiangfan brand liquor produced by the Songhua River Food Factory has a history of several decades. Its annual output has been hovering around 20 tons.
