该矿原为粘土矿,1977年经甘肃地矿局兰州实验室试验后,始确定为膨润土,并发现其EMg~(2+)高,因而引起了广泛注意。在此基础上又作了一些探索性工作,从而对该膨润土矿有了一个粗浅的认识。一地质概况矿区位于龙首山山间断陷盆地石炭——二迭系向斜的北翼。两侧以断层与泥盆系和震旦系地层相接。属于湖泊——河流相火山——沉积型矿床。该矿床有十二层矿层或矿化层(表1)。其中②、④矿层为该矿的主矿层,呈层状,层位稳定。其余各矿层均呈不大的似层状透镜体,质量及厚度均有较大的变化。
The mine was originally a clay mine. After the Lanzhou Laboratory of Gansu Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources in 1977, it was initially identified as bentonite and found to have a high EMg2 + concentration, which attracted wide attention. On this basis, some exploratory work was done to gain a superficial understanding of this bentonite mine. A Geological Overview Mining area is located in Longshoushan mountain faulted basin Carboniferous - Permian syncline north wing. Faults on both sides connect with the Devonian and Sinian strata. Belongs to the lake - river volcano - sedimentary deposits. The deposit has 12 layers of ore or mineralization (Table 1). The ②, ④ mine is the main seam of the mine, was layered, horizon stable. The rest of the ore are not big like layered lens body, quality and thickness have greater changes.
