At present, optical fiber is not universal, and most rural students have not seen it. Some students find it difficult to understand the nature of the light that can be transmitted under bending conditions. We designed a small experiment of using a glass tube as a “light guide.” Let students start their own hands and have good interests. There is a certain role in solving the above contradictions. The material used in this experiment was a waste glass tube with an outer diameter of about 5 mm in a chemical laboratory. After cleaning, it was bent into various shapes on an alcohol lamp. In order to avoid the entrance of outside light, the black paper on the film is wrapped in a glass tube, leaving only two end sections. The light source is a small light bulb powered by two dry batteries. One end of the glass tube is faced to the light source, and the other side of the cross section shows the light passing along the curved glass tube.
