旅游英语是一门专业性很强的课程,要求学生毕业后能够运用所学知识成为从业涉外旅游导游的必备职业技能。革开放以来,中国的发展世界共睹,刺激了中国旅游业的蓬勃发展,形成了入境旅游、国内旅游、出境旅游齐头并进的发展格局。不断升温的中国旅游产业,促使社会对精通英语的旅游专业复合型人才的需求也越来越大。怎样以市场为导向,培养适应当今旅游业发展的专业人才是我们面临的一大难题。本文结合笔者多年的课堂教学经验,探讨了情景教学法在旅游英语教学中的应用。
Tourism English is a highly specialized course that requires students to apply what they have learned to become a must-have for practicing foreign-related tour guides after graduation. Since the reform and opening up to the outside world, China has seen a common development in the world, stimulating the vigorous development of China’s tourism industry and forming a development pattern of inbound tourism, domestic tourism and outbound tourism. The ever-increasing tourism industry in China has driven a growing demand from the community for tourism professionals with proficiency in English. How to market-oriented training to adapt to the development of tourism professionals today is a major problem we face. This article combines the author’s years of classroom teaching experience, explores the application of situational teaching in tourism English teaching.
