改革开放以来,在自治区党委和政府的正确领导下,新疆国民经济保持快速发展,对外开放取得了重大进展,非公有制经济快速发展。2009年,新疆国内生产总值达到4277.05亿元,经济的快速发展为就业提供了广阔空间。本文就新疆经济发展的现状,从理论和实证两方面对经济增长的就业效应关系进行分析,尤其是运用就业弹性对其进行分析,得出结论并分析其原因,最后提出提高就业弹性、解决就业问题的措施。
