本文主要论述了在大学英语教学中开设英美文学课程的必要性与可行性。笔者认为在大学英语教学中应开设英美文学课程并加强其教学,以适应我国高等教育国际化的要求及对学生实行素质教育的要求,培养出越来越多高素质的国际化人才。
This article mainly discusses the necessity and feasibility of setting up British and American literature courses in college English teaching. The author believes that in the English teaching of colleges and universities should be set up British and American literature courses and strengthen their teaching, in order to adapt to the requirements of the internationalization of China’s higher education and the requirements of the implementation of quality education for students, and cultivate more and more high-quality international talents.
