英语是中职学校为适应社会经济发展以及学生多样化的学习需求而开设的一门文化基础课程。但是,由于教师对文化课存在着认识上的偏差,加上中职生自身学习基础较差,且具有不良的学习习惯,导致中职英语课堂教学效率一直处于低下状态。所以为了学生将来职业生涯的发展,中职英语教师必须做好本职工作,即提高英语教育教学质量、实现英语课堂有效教学。
English is a cultural foundation course offered by secondary vocational schools to meet the needs of socio-economic development and students’ diversified learning. However, due to teachers’ misunderstanding of cultural classes, coupled with their poor learning base and poor learning habits, the teaching efficiency of English classes in secondary vocational schools has been at a low level. Therefore, in order to develop the students’ career in the future, English teachers in secondary vocational schools must do their jobs well, that is to improve the teaching quality of English education and to achieve effective teaching in English classrooms.
