Soon-Gong Paik is an abstract artist in Korea. The perceptual aesthetic form that abstract art possesses has always been a topic that has stirred up the heated controversy in the Korean art circle about aesthetics. Some traditional Korean cultural critics also emphasized the limitations of abstract art and pointed out their formal repetition and lack of realism. They think that the theme of abstract art always revolves around the spiritual world, not the description of our daily life.
