2012年底,由中国博协区域博物馆专委会与国际博协区域博物馆委员会(1CR)合作举办,山西博物院和湖南省博物馆承办的“博物馆标准国际研讨会”在太原举行,这是中国博协区域博物馆专委会自“美国博物馆标准和最佳做法”后又一次举办以博物馆标准为主题的国际研讨会。会议以“工作坊”形式进行,国际博协区域博物馆委员会主席、奥地利波西尼亚堡民间艺术与传统博物馆馆长哈特穆特·普拉施(Hartmut Prasch)和该委员会理事、奥克兰理工大学新西兰旅游研究院文化遗产部副主任简·莱格特(Jane Legget)博士分别介绍了国际博协区域博物馆委员会的博物馆质量与标准提升指南、奥地利和新西兰的博物馆标准和最佳做
By the end of 2012, the “Museum Standards International Symposium” hosted by Shanxi Museum and Hunan Provincial Museum was held in cooperation with the Commission for Regional Museum of China Association for the Prosperity of China (IBC) and the IUCN Regional Museum Commission (1CR) The Association of Regional Museums’ Experts held an international symposium once again on the theme of museums since the “American Museum Standards and Best Practices”. The meeting was held in the form of a “workshop”. Hartmut Prasch, president of the Museum Commission for the Museum of the International Association of Museums, Hartmut Prasch, director of the Museum of Folk Art and Heritage in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria, Dr. Jane Legget, Deputy Director of Cultural Heritage, New Zealand Institute of Tourism, Polytechnic University, introduced the Museum Quality and Standards Enhancement Guidelines of the IBO Regional Museums Commission, the museum standards of Austria and New Zealand, and best practices, respectively
