山东筝曲主要流传于鲁西南的郓城、鄄城一带,主要由山东琴书唱腔和山东琴曲以及民间小调音乐组成。山东慢板筝曲的演奏着重突出左手的功夫,而快板筝曲则注重右手的技巧。沉思吟诵,富于韵味的按、滑、揉、颤,以及促弦繁声、波澜起伏的花、刮、撮、摇等技巧,使山东筝曲除了具有古朴淡雅、热情奔放的特殊音乐风格之外,也有着它独特的技法特点。
