March 23, 2011, the world’s mourning the death of a generation of superstar Elizabeth Taylor. As a film and fashion idol, philanthropist, her collection of those stunning jewelery is about to go global auction. Among them, 269 pieces of jewelry valued at about 300 million U.S. dollars will be on display at branches of Christie’s New York in Paris, Los Angeles, Moscow and London. Some of the proceeds of the exhibition tickets and publications will be donated to the Elizabeth Taylor Foundation for AIDS.
