Recently, the Institute of Forestry and Soil Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences has collected 4 artificial forests of Artemisia lanceolata plantation in the Tumenling Railway Forest Farm in Jilin Province. The physical and mechanical properties of wood were studied by the Woods Institute of Forest Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Forestry. The 4 strains of larches aged from 20 to 25 years; DBH 12.1-12.7
