1997年是我国历史进程中非常重要的一年,我国将恢复对香港行使主权,中国共产党将召开第十五次全国代表大会。党中央、国务院对今年的防汛抗旱工作高度重视,要求确保大江大河安全度汛,万无一失。为圆满完成今年的防汛抗旱工作任务,去冬今春,各地、各部门按照国家防总1996年第三次会议和今年第一次办公会议提出的要求,争分夺秒开展今年的防汛准备和抗旱
1997 is a very important year in the historical process of our country. Our country will resume its exercise of sovereignty over Hong Kong and the Chinese Communist Party will convene the 15th National Congress.
