In 1898, after the defeat of Jai Lars election member, he should be the publisher of “Socialist History”. The book is voluminous and consists of 13 volumes, ranging from 1789 until 1900, describing major historical events in France over this one hundred-odd year. They reveal not only the causes and process of the French Revolution, the bourgeoisie’s regime’s acquisition of power But also reflects how the proletariat formally entered the stage of history from becoming a “power supporting history and becoming a class for” new-type ownership and new ideal. “ Throughout the history of the economic factors to explain all historical events is a major feature of this series, which created a precedent for the study of French modern history. In addition to Jaurelus, the contributors to the series were also some other well-known activists of the Socialist Party of France at the time. For more than 80 years, the sections written by these activists have long since disappeared with the changes of history. Only the volumes written by Raois, namely, the ”Constituent Assembly“, ”Legislative Assembly“ The ”National Assembly“ and the ”French-German War“ collected in the twelfth volume still maintain its vitality. In particular, one to four volumes play an epoch-making role in the study of French revolutionary history. In 1922, when Madou republished the four volumes, he set the title as ”Socialist History - The French Revolution.“ In 1969, Albert Sobre used the title in its republication. This Introduction, originally published in Volume I, appeared as if it was written for the Constituent Assembly and was actually an introduction to the entire series. Therefore, Madiur changed this introduction to General Introduction. From this we can see that Raous made a penetrating analysis of the three stages of the socialist workers’ movement in France in the nineteenth century and gave a clear explanation of the preparation of this series. His ”History of Socialism - The French Revolution" will be published by the Commercial Press.
