Auditory hypersensitivity during Bell paralysis, previously explained by paralysis of the stapes muscle. In recent years, due to the popularity of acoustic impedance audiometry, can be easier to detect the sound of the stapedius acoustic reflex (hereinafter referred to as AR), that there are non-tarsal muscle paralysis due to hearing hypersensitivity. This article explains the mechanism of auditory hypersensitivity from a pathophysiological point of view, discusses the A R of early cases of Bell’s palsy and makes a detailed audiological examination of a few cases. The authors examined 278 patients with Bell palsy on one side and no middle ear disease within 2 weeks of onset. The following examinations were performed: (1) Interview: whether or not the patient had any hearing ailments during the onset of the disease, whether the pain was felt during the sound, Loud, annoying, noisy and so on. (2) with acoustic admittance meter
