From January to April this year, affected by such factors as economic restructuring, sluggish downstream demand and weak markets, the total coal shipped from northern coastal ports amounted to only 195 million tons, a decrease of 21 million tons over the same period of last year. Among them, Qinhuangdao Port shipped 69.98 million tons of coal, down 7.7 million tons; Caofeidian Port shipped 22.49 million tons of coal, down 2.16 million tons; Jingtang Port (Laogang, Donggang) shipped a total of 23.41 million tons of coal, down 2.23 million Ton.
