以往的有关书中,涉及垂直磁力仪东西向不水平对读数的影响时认为:“仪器底座东西不水平不影响磁秤的平衡方程式,只是由于底座的倾斜使光系的光轴不垂直,入射角发生了变化”。实际上,这个结论只适用于刃口式磁秤,对悬丝式垂直磁力仪是不正确的。本文对磁秤平衡方程式进行了讨论,并经实际测定证明当仪器东西向不水平时,悬丝式垂直磁力仪和刃口磁力仪,对其读数的影响正好相反。
