This article systematically expounds a good gouache still life of the five criteria: the composition of a complete picture; harmonious color unity; object shaping vivid and accurate; primary and secondary clear sense of space performance in place; express the texture of still life clear. As well as the basic steps of still painting of gouache, and analyzes the common problems in students’ works.
