朝天小学历史悠久,前身是清政府同治三年(公元1864年)所创办的广州同文馆(外语学校),迄今已有139年历史了。同文馆于1906年改为满汉高等学堂。建国前是广州市立第一小学,新中国成立后易名朝天路小学.1993年定名朝天小学,多年来,朝天小学全面贯彻教育方针,坚持改革,不断创新,办学成绩优异。从50年代起列为市、区重点小学,1991年进入“中国名校”行列,1994年评为广东省一级学校,是广州市小学整体改革实验基地学校,并承担了“八五”和“九五”期间国家教育部重点科研课题的实验任务。
Chaotian Primary School has a long history. The predecessor was the Guangzhou Tongwen University (Foreign Language School) founded by the Qing government for three years (AD 1864), which has been 139 years old so far. In 1994, it was rated as a primary school in Guangdong Province. It was a primary school reform experiment base in Guangzhou Elementary School and undertook the “Eighth Five-Year Plan” and “ Nine Five ”period of the Ministry of Education key scientific research task.
