1991年10月22日,中共中央总书记江泽民在浙江省委书记李泽民、省长葛法升、南京军区政委史玉孝等领导陪同下,坐船跨海到千岛新城——舟山市考察。主持市委工作的副书记于辉达详细汇报了该市近几年在开拓外海、远洋水产资源,发展水产品高、精、深加工,海涂综合开发利用及海岛港口码头建设等方面情况。江总书记仔细听取后对舟山工作作了重要指示。
On October 22, 1991, General Secretary Jiang Zemin of the CPC Central Committee accompanied by leaders of Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee Li Zemin, Governor Ge Fasheng, and Shi Yuxiao, political commissar of Nanjing Military Region, and other leaders of the CPC Central Committee to go to Zhoushan for inspection by sea. Huifu Da, the deputy secretary who presided over the work of the municipal party committee, reported in detail the situation of the city in exploiting offshore and oceanic aquatic resources, developing high, refined and deep-processed aquatic products, comprehensive development and utilization of the Tidal Flat and the construction of the island port and dock in recent years. After listening carefully, General Secretary Jiang made an important instruction on Zhoushan’s work.
