9月14日,是世界糖尿病日,为了开展“世界糖尿病日”的宣传活动,以引起人们对身体健康的关注,由杭州赛诺菲圣德拉堡民生制药有限公司发起,来自北京、上海、广州、深圳和杭州的500多名公司员工、新闻工作者以及杭州市领导共同参加的主题为“保护你的肾脏,为世界糖尿病日5公里环湖健康行”的社会公益活动在杭州进行。每位公司员工为这次环湖健康行进行个人捐款、同时公司资助每一位参予者捐款,捐得的款项将提供给卫生部用于编撰有关糖尿病的防治教育资料,并把这些资料分发给国内的糖尿病患者,进行糖尿病血管知识的普及
