基层的小型医院远离大中城市,信息来源少而慢,在当今知识更新的年代,必须及早建立有自己特点的图书情报中心,才能吸取较多的新的医学经验,为医疗工作服务。我院是一所300张床位的小型医院,图书馆现有藏书6 500册(其中包括各类工具书400余册)、中外文杂志13 000余册(250余种),与国内百余医疗及科研单位建立了联系,交换资料200余种。在图书管理工作中,我们有以下体会: 一、人员的选定小型医院没有条件配备图书馆专业本科毕业生,但工作人员应具备以下条件:有大专以上医学专业与科学文化水平,熟悉汉语拼音与英语的基础知识,有较强事业心。人员要保持稳定,在建馆之前先进修图书馆专业3~6个月。二、地点的选择图书馆是医务人员学习的中
