在经济全球化的大潮中,要实现钢铁大国向钢铁强国的转变,首先钢铁企业应该从自身做起,通过多条渠道包括国际化合作,实施强强联合,吸纳国际一流钢铁企业的先进技术和管理理念、内引外联,固本强身,实现由国内一流企业向世界强企转变的跨越,这不仅是增强企业国际竞争力的需要,也是钢铁行业走向世界,由大变强的重要基础。对此,湖南华菱钢铁集团率先做了有益的尝试,他们与全球最大的钢铁企业米塔尔结成国际战略伙伴并经过一年多的实践。最近,本刊特约记者专程到华菱对集团公司董事长李效伟同志就人们普遍关注的几个热点问题包括实施国际化合作的背景与目的、实施一年多的效果和意义、合作中应该注意的一些问题进行了深入采访。为使读者能够较全面了解华菱集团与米塔尔合作情况,我们没有对稿件作过多的删减。
